This 277 hectare estate produces wines of international recognition in a magnificent location close to San Gimignano. The estate is centred around a majestic 17th century villa with full winery, agricultural buildings and separate chapel. The estate offers the possibility to own a Tuscan residence of historic importance, producing wine on a commercial level whilst also developing further properties across the estate to sell or to generate income from.
Dating back over four hundred years the villa has an architectural importance thanks to its architect who was also responsible for designing Florence’s magnificent Boboli Gardens.
The villa’s accommodation is spread over three principal floors with large grandiose receptions rooms to the ground floor leading onto the front terraced gardens and the charming interior courtyard.
The rooms boast a wealth of original features including high ceilings, impressive fireplace, vaulted ceilings and well maintained terracotta floorings. To the upper storeys of the villa one finds the bedrooms, all of which have ensuite bathrooms. Despite requiring some modernising in parts the villa is in good condition and offers a layout to suit residential use. The extensive outbuildings however would allow for further guest accommodation to be created and therefore creating a hotel on site could be possible.
