This luxury Tuscan villa with frescos dates back to the 17th century with many original features and renovated 5 years ago. Surrounded by attractive gardens and views towards the Lucca hills.
The Main Villa
On entering the villa there is an entrance hall with the following rooms leading off: a modern kitchen, dining room, conservatory, breakfast room and ironing room. At the heart of the villa is the grand hall from which there are two staircases that lead up to the first floor. The conservatory staircase leads into the L-shaped drawing room which the study and an office lead off. Through an archway there is a double bedroom and bathroom.
On the next floor there are three double bedrooms, one bathroom and a dressing room. The master bedroom has its own bathroom and a dressing room.
Gardens and Grounds
Surrounding the villa there is a formal garden laid to lawn and numerous stunning flower beds. There is a swimming pool (33ft x 16’6ft) set lower down on bottom part of the lawn surrounded by a stone wall. There are several covered seating areas set within the grounds and within easy reach of the villa.
In addition to the main Tuscan residence there is a garage and additional storage in three barns. There is also a self contained cottage which provides guest accommodation or the potential to generate income. The cottage has 2 reception rooms, kitchen/breakfast room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with cellars for storage. It is currently let on an annual basis.
The villa is situated off a private road stretching a mile long within a private estate close to the city of Lucca. Within 10 minutes one cn be in central Lucca. Pisa airport can be reached in under 30 minutes and the beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are just 35 minutes.
