Covering a total of 165 hectares, the estate includes 45 hectares of vines, 49 hectares of olive groves and arable land and the rest is laid to woodland. Across the estate there are various structures providing accommodation and wine production facilities covering a total floor area of 8000 sqm.
The estates combines the beauty and tradition of rural Tuscany with state of the art wine production facilities. The origins of the estate date back over 1000 years with wonderful original features found through, internally and externally.

The Main Property
The main nucleus of the estate is a small hamlet of buildings comprising of a master residence of 1000 sqm restored to a high standard and across the courtyard one finds the offices, staff accommodation, storage and a full winery.

Land and Wine Production
Since the current owners began work on the estate back in 1983 the land has been worked, vines replanted and buildings restored. In 2009 the owners made the decision to move the estate to full organic certification for both vines and olive groves.
The 45 hectares of vines are IGT and DOCG classified with the potential to produce up to approximately 260,000 bottles per annum. Grape varieties includes sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon, colorino, merlot, petit verdot, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc which are blended to produce six distinct high quality wines of international recognition plus a vino santo and a grappa.
The extensive olive groves produce approximately 3000 bottles (0.5ltr) per annum and boast organic certification.
Further Accommodation
In addition to the winery and main residence there are a further various traditional Tuscan farmhouses which have been restored into guest apartments.
The apartments are run as a successful agriturismo business providing a total of 15 apartments.
Location
The estate is divided into two distinct areas – one near the hilltop town of Castellina-in-Chianti and the other close in the rural area to the south of the town of Poggibonsi. Both areas enjoy the excellent panoramic views that are typical of the Chianti area of Tuscany.
From both area Siena and Florence alike can be reached in 40 minutes and Pisa Airport in one hour.
